Community Guidelines

STBY is a community built for and by verified airline crew. To keep it safe and welcoming, everyone who uses STBY agrees to these Community Guidelines. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Content or accounts that violate these guidelines may be removed, suspended, or permanently banned.

Be respectful

Treat other members with respect. Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, hate speech, or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic is not allowed.

Content that is not allowed

• Sexually explicit or pornographic content, and any sexual content involving minors.
• Graphic violence, threats of violence, or content that promotes or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or terrorism.
• Hateful, harassing, defamatory, or abusive content directed at any person or group.
• Illegal content or activity, including the sale of illegal goods or services.
• Impersonation of another person, airline, or organization, and misrepresenting your crew identity.
• Spam, scams, fraud, or misleading commercial activity.
• Sharing another person's private or personal information without consent.
• Content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights.

Report objectionable content

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it. You can report any post, comment, profile, message, listing, or product directly from within the STBY app using the report option on that item. Reports are confidential. Our team reviews reports and takes action — typically within 24 hours — which may include removing content and warning, suspending, or banning the responsible account.

Block and restrict

You are always in control of who you interact with. You can block any member from their profile at any time; blocked members can no longer see you or contact you. You can also choose who is able to message you from Settings → Privacy & Safety.

Enforcement

We act on violations of these guidelines. Depending on the severity, we may remove content, issue a warning, temporarily suspend an account, or permanently ban a member. Attempting to evade a ban or suspension is itself a violation. Serious violations, including illegal activity or content that endangers others, may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
