What is STBY?

STBY is an app for airline crew that show’s deals, discounts and offers available to them in cities around the world

How can I join?

To protect the information provided to us by companies from the general public access to STBY is by limited to Airline Staff Only. When you create an account you’ll be prompted to enter an invitation code or upload your airline ID for verification.

FAQ

I’m not crew but work for an airline, can I join?

Yes, perks of working for an airline is often discounted travel and our offer to businesses is to get them in front of individuals who travel often, so as long as you work for an airline you’re welcome on STBY

A business isn’t offering a discount as displayed. 

In our T&C’s we state that businesses have the right to change or adjust their offer at any time. We work hard to build these relationships with businesses, so if you do experience any issues you can use the “Report an issue” feature in the app or contact us using the contact form and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue. Per local laws however you are always required to settle bills or disputes on location.

Do I need a STBY ID to avail of the offers?

Nope. All of the offers are available if you produce a valid airline ID also. Our digital STBY ID allows you to leave your airline ID in a safe space so is an alternative to carrying your airline ID.

What happens when I upload my airline ID for approval?

The STBY app uses Google’s Firestore Security features and is completely safe to upload your airline ID for approval. Once your account is approved (or denied) the image of your airline ID is deleted completely and can’t be accessed again. So you can upload your ID knowing it’s safe to do so if you don’t have a referral code.
